Black Sabbath were formed in Aston Birmingham in 1969. Originally formed as a Heavy Blues Rock band named The Earth and one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal band, they were ranked as The "Greatest Metal Band" of all time or The King of Heavy Metal.

after the original singer Ozzy Osbourne left the band and replaced by new singer Ronnie James Dio from former ELF and Rainbow.

Vinnie Appice is the younger brother of the drummer Carmine Appice (former The Vanilla Fudge, The Cactus and Beck, Bogert & Appice", from The Rick Derringer Band and The Axis, replacing the original drummer Bill Ward.
