Asia are a British Progressive Rock Supergroup, formed in 1981 by John Wetton (Bass Ex King Crimson, Family, Roxy Music, Uriah Heep, UK, Wishbone Ash), Steve Howe (Guitar Ex Yes), Geoff Downes (Keyboards Ex The Buggles, Yes), and Carl Palmer (Drums Ex Emerson, Lake & Palmer, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, and Atomic Rooster). Their debut album Asia in 1982 reaching No. 1 in several countries. Asia ranks as on of the most popular Progressive Rock Bands in history.
