David Crosby is an American Singer and Songwriter, best known as a founding member of both The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.  He wrote or co-wrote "Eight Miles High" and more with The Byrds and "Wooden Ships", "Guinnevere", "Shadow Captain", and "In My Dream" with Crosby, Stills & Nash, also wrote "Almost Cut My Hair: and "Deja Vu" for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.  He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice for The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.  Five albums he contributed to are inducted in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, 3 with The Byrds and 2 with CSN(Y).
