America is an American Folk Rock Trio Band, formed in 1970 by Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek.  They first met in London and began performing live with Vocals Harmonies and Acoustic Folk Sound became popularity in the 1970s from their first single hit and their debut album in self-titled album "A Horse with No Name" in 1971 and follow second hit "I Need You".  America has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
