The Tillers are an American Folk Band from Ohio, formed in 2007 by Mike Oberst (Vocals, Banjo, Guitar, Harmonica, Accordion, Fiddle), Sean Geil (Vocals, Guitar, Dobro, Mandolin), Aaron Geil (Upright Bass, Backing Vocals).  They were awarded City Beat Magazine's Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Best Folk and Americana act in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015 7 2017.
