Fools Gold was an American Country Rock Band from Illinois, formed in 1974.  The band started out as Dan Fogelberg Backing Band.  Full of high harmony and easy Country Rock, and sound like The Eagles and Poco.

Fools Gold is the first album by Fools Gold, originally released in 1976 by Arista Records, remastered and reissued March 3, 2017 by Floating World/Retoworld.  This long lost album, highlights include "Rain, Oh, Rain", "Rollin' Fields And Meadows" and a cover of Dan Fogelberg's own "Old Tennessee".  Featuring Joe Walsh, Duncan Cameron, Don Felder, Michael McDonald, J.D. Souther and Leo Sayer.  For Fans of The Eagles and Poco.
