The Rossington Collins Band was an American Southern Rock Band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1979 by Allen Collins (Guitar Ex Lynyrd Skynyrd), and Gary Rossington (Guitar Ex Lynyrd Skynyrd). The band included two other surviving members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Powell (Keyboards) and Leon Wilkeson (Bass). The band wished to develop their own sound and hired a female Lead Vocalist, Dale Krantz, who later married with Gary Rossington. The band released two albums before disbanding in 1982, their biggest hit, "Don't Misunderstand Me".
