Pink Floyd were an English Progressive Rock Band, formed by university students Roger Waters (Bass), Syd Barrett (Vocals and Guitar), Richard Wright (Keyboards) and Nick Mason (Drums) in 1965. Pink Floyd is one of the most commercially successful and influential Rock Groups in the history of Popular Music, they have sold over 250 million records worldwide and they were inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, and The UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
