Steve Turre is an American Jazz Trombonist. He is one of the finest trombonists of the 1980s and 1990s and also introduced the Conch Shells to Jazz. In 1968 he played with Rahsaan Roland Kirk, in 1970, he recorded with Carlos Santana, and in 1972 he toured with Ray Charles.
