Foo Fighters are an American Alternative Rock Band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1994 by Dave Grohl (Drums Ex Nirvana), with Nate Mendel (Bass Ex Sunny Day Real Estate), and William Goldsmith (Drums Ex Sunny Day Real Estate) and Pat Smear (Guitar).  The band have won Grammy Awards for Best Rock Album.  In 2014, the band have sold 11 million copies.
