Pure Prairie League was formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1969 by Craig Fuller (Vocals, Guitar), George Powell (Vocals, Guitar), Jim Lanham (Bass), and Tom McGrall (Drums).  The band has achieved much critical and commercial success and is considered a major force in taking the Country Rock Genre into the national music mainstream, and to be one of the greatest Country Rock ever recorded.
