Death Angel is an American Thrash Metal Band from Concord, California, formed in 1982 by cousins Rob Cavestany (Lead Guitar), Dennis Pepa (Bass, Vocals), Gus Pepa (Rhythm Guitar) and Andy Galeon (Drums), all of Filipino, and one of the youngest bands to storm the Metal Genre. Death Angel has come to be known as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the thriving Bay Area Thrash Metal Scene in the early 1980s. In 1986, a Death Angel Demo produced by Kirk Hammett (Metallica) led to a deal with Enigma Records and a debut Album, The Ultra Violence (1987). Drummer And Galeon just 14 years old at the time, and remains one of the all time Classic Thrash Metal Albums.
