Bullet For My Valentine are a Welsh Heavy Metal Band from Bridgend, Wales, formed in 1998 by Matthew Tuck (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Michael Paget (Lead Guitar), Nick Crandle (Bass) and Michael Thomas (Drums).  They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John by covering songs of Metallica and Nirvana, later changed name to Bullet For My Valentine in 2002.  In 2003 Nick Crandle left the band and replaced by Michael Thomas (Bass).  The band has influenced by Classic Metal such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer.

The band got The Best Newcomer (2004) from Welsh Music Award, The Best British Band (2006, 2010) from Metal Hammer Golden God Award, The Best British Newcomer (2005), The Best British Band (2008, 2009, 2010) and The Best Live Band (2010) from Kerrang! Awards.
