Steely Dan is an American Jazz Rock Duo Band from Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, formed in 1972 by Walter Becker (Bass) and Donald Fagen (Vocals, Keyboards).   Their music also blends elements of Rock, Pop, Funk and R&B.  The band enjoyed great commercial success in the late 1970s and early 1980s.  They have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in March 2001.
