Jackie Lomax was an English Guitarist, Singer, Songwriter, best known for his association with George Harrison and Eric Clapton. He was a member of Dee and The Dynamites The Undertakers, The Lomax Alliance, Heavy Jelly and Badger, he also worked with The Tea Bags, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Leon Russell and Nicky Hopkins.

Heavy Jelly is super rare Apple Records debut album from 1970, never officially released before, This long-lost 1970 album has attained legendary status and appeared in bootleg form over the years following Jackie's untimely death in autumn 2013, his family has resolved all contractual issues with Apple amicably and approval for the album to be released on CD, was released on March 10, 2014 by Angel Air, features Pete Ham and Tom Evans from Badfinger appear on the album as well as The Rolling Stones wind section Bobby Keys and Jim Price. Heavy Jelly became a real band in Jackie Lomax's back catalogue.
