The Marshall Tucker Band is an American Southern Rock/Country Rock Band from Sparlanburg, South Carolina.  One of the major Southern Rock Band of the '70s, their music combined Rock, Country, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, and Gospel.  The band original lineup, formed in 1972, included Toy Caldwell (Lead Guitar, Vocals - 1947-1993), Tommy Caldwell (Bass - 1949-1980), Doug Gray (Lead Vocals), George McCorkle (Rhythm Guitar - 1946-2007), Paul Riddle (Drums) and Jerry Eubanks (Flute).  They gained recognition through a tour with The Allman Brothers Band and found significant success during the '70s.

Live! Englishtown NJ, September 3, 1977 is the live album by The Marshall Tucker Band, was released on October 14, 2014 by Ramblin Records, recorded on September 3, 1977, performed at Raceway Park as part of an 11-hour outdoor show with New Riders Of The Purple Sage and The Grateful Dead.  The event was the only concert to ever be held at Raceway Park, an actual drag racing venue in Englishtown, New Jersey.  Over 150,000 fans were in attendance over the course of the one-day festival.
