Dio was an American Heavy Metal Band formed in 1982 and led by Ronnie James Dio (Vocals Ex Rainbow, Black Sabbath, ELF, Heaven & Hell), Vinny Appice (Drums Ex Black Sabbath, Axis, Derringer, Heaven & Hell), with Jimmy Bain (Bass Ex Rainbow, Wild Horse) and Vivian Campbell (Guitar Ex Whitesnake, Riverdogs, Shadow King).  The band dissolved in 2010 when Ronnie James Dio died of Stomach cancer at the age of 67.  The band has sold more than 10 million copies of albums worldwide.
