The Seeds were an American Garage Band, formed in 1965 by Sky Saxon (Vocals, Bass), Jan Savage (Guitar), Darly Hooper (Keyboards) and Rick Andridge (Drums). Best known and only national Top 40 hit "Pushin' Too Hard", in 1966. They played '60s Garage Music, Psychedelic Rock and Acid Rock, are considered one of the pioneers of Punk Rock.

Singles A's & B's 1965-1970 is the collection album by The Seeds, was released on August 25, 2014 by Big Beat Records, from the original single masters of The Seeds' celebrated run of 45x, including the band's swansong releases on MGM and other non-LP tracks. Extensive sleeve notes cover the final phase of the band's history, illuminated with an interview with Seeds studio Bassist Harvey Sharpe.
