The Dictators are an American Punk Rock Band formed in New York City in 1973 by Andy Shernoff (Bass, Vocals), Ross "The Boss" Friedman (Lead Guitar), Scott "Top Ten" Kempner (Rhythm Guitar),  and Stu Boy King (Drums).  They were one of the finest and most influential Punk Rock Band same as The MC5, The Stooges, and New York Dolls in the mid to late 1970s.
