Captain Beyond was an American Hard Rock Band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1971, by Rod Evans (Lead Vocals Ex Deep Purple), Lee Dorman (Bass Ex Iron Butterfly), Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt (Guitar Ex Iron Butterfly) and Bobby Caldwell (Drums Ex Johnny Winter).

Live Anthology-Official Bootleg (Hand Numbered Limited Edition) by Captain Beyond, was released on September 17, 2013 by Cleopatra Records.  Captain Beyond is simply one of the most overlooked and underappreciated gems of 70s Rock and one of the Supergroup.  The album is a very Special Limited Edition (only 1,000 Copies) Anthology of Live recordings of 1971 and 1972.
