The Knack was an American New Wave Band formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by Doug Fieger (Vocals, Guitar), Berton Averre (Lead Guitar, Keyboards), Prescott Niles (Bass) and Bruce Gary (Drums).  The band was released the debut album Get The Knack in 1979, was one of the year's best-selling albums, holding the No. 1 on Billboard's Album Chart for 5 weeks and was released hit single "My Sharona", was the No. 1 hit in USA, also in Canada.
