Montrose is the American Hard Rock Band, Ronnie Montrose is a session musician of Van Morrison and The Edgar Winter Group, he decided to form his own, self-name band in 1973 with Sammy Hagar, the frontman of Van Halen, with Bill Chruch on Bass and Denny Carmassi on Drums.
