The Golliwogs were an American Rock Band from El Cerrito, California, formed in 1964 by John Fogerty (Vocals, Guitar), Tom Fogerty (Guitar Ex Tommy Fogerty & The Blue Velvets), Stu Cook (Bass, Piano), and Doug Clifford (Drums).  After the band changed the name to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
