America is a Trio Folk Rock Band formed in England in 1970 by Gerry Beckley (Vocals, Guitars, Multi-Instrumentalists), Dewey Bunnell (Vocals, Guitars, Percussion), and Dan Peek (Vocals, Guitars, Multi-Instrumentalists). Their first met as sons of U.S. Air Force personnel stationed in London, where they began performing live with Vocals Harmonica and Acoustic Folk Sound. The band debut self-titled album in 1971 with the single hit "A Horse With No Name" and "I Need You", and many more hits. America has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
