Robert Earl Keen is an American Singer and Songwriter from Houston, Texas.  His songs have been covered by several different artists including George Strait, Joe Ely, Lyle Lovett, Nanci Griffith, Dixie Chicks and The Highwaymen.  He played with different music styles, from Folk, Country and Bluegrass to Rock.  He has inducted into The Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall Of Fame in 2012.
