Björk is an Icelandic Singer, Songwriter and Actress.  She became known as the lead singer of the Alternative Rock Band The Sugarcubes in 1987 with single "Birthday", was a hit on US and UK Indie  Stations.  Björk began her career as a Solo Artist in 1993, her debut album was rooted in Electronic Dance Music, House, Jazz and Trip Hop and introduced into Mainstream Pop.  Björk has had 30 singles reach the Top 40 on Pop Charts around the world.  She had sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and he has won four BRIT Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, one Mojo Award, three UK MUsic Video Awards, 21 Icelandic Music Awards, in 2010, the Polar Music Prize from the Royal Swedish Academy Of Music, in 2014 to be inducted into the Museum Of Modern Art's permanent collection.  Björk has been ranked 29 in VH1's "The 100 Greatest Women In Music", 8 in MTV's "22 Greatest Voices in Music", 6 in Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Singers Of All Time", and was recognized in NPR's "50 Greatest Voices" features for her "Celestial Voice".

Vulnicura is the ninth studio album by Björk, was released on January 20, 2015 by One Little Indian.  The album expresses her feelings following her breakup with Artist Matthew Barney.  The album in conjunction with the Björk:  Archives Book and an Exhibition about Björk's career at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York City.
