Ian Gillan is an English Hard Rock Vocalist and Songwriter, best-known as the Lead Singer of Deep Purple. He influenced by Elvis Presley, in the mid-sixties, he joined Episode Six and he found commercial success after joined with Deep Purple in 1969 and resigned from the band in 1973 to start his solo bands the Ian Gillan Band and Gillan, before joined with Black Sabbath. He rejoined a reformed Deep Purple in 1984 and 1994.
