The Lovin' Spoonful is an American Folk Rock Band, formed by John Sebastian (Vocals, Guitar), Zal Yanovsky (Guitar Ex The Mugwumps: with two members, Cass Elliot and Denny Doherty, later form half of The Mamas & The Papas), Steve Boone (Bass) and Joe Butler (Drums) in 1965.  The Band got the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

Do You Believe In Magic is the debut album by The American Folk Rock Band by The Lovin' Spoonful, released in November, 1965 on Kama Sutra Label, and was re-released on CD on 2002 on Buddah Records, with five bonus tracks.  The album released single hits:  "Do You Believe In Magic" (U.S. No. 9) and "Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind?" (U.S. No. 2)

Everything Playing is an album by The Lovin' Spoonful, released in 1967 on Kama Sutra and was re-released in 2003 on Buddah Records with three bonus tracks, with the following hits:  "Six O'Clock", "She Is Still A Mystery" and "Money".  Jerry Yester (Guitar), who replaced Zal Yanovsky, and the last album for John Sebastian (Lead Vocals and Songwriter) who left the group in June 1968 for a Solo career.
